Summary: Authorities don't expect to see Bin Laden any time soon. Somehow he is being hiden and protected from someone. Many believe, many military leaders and officers say that they aren't close to finding him. Tanner says the ISI, Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence Agency, knows where bin Laden is hiding, but is not ready to say. “We got to make a deal with Pakistan because I’m convinced that he’s protected by the ISI,” Tanner says. Many also say that even if the U.S captures Bin Laden, that they wont find him alive. U.S continues to send troops to Pakistan untill they find Bin Laden. Others also say that Bin Laden might even have body gaurds, just in case they might try to shoot him.
Opinion: I think that the U.S should just keep sending and keep sending troops to Pakistan untill they find that man! He was the one who made all that suffering during 9/11, he was the one who ordered those people, those terrorist to hi-jack the plain and crash it on the Twin Towers. He is one of the most dangerous mans that has caused many pain to all the citizens in the U.S. Many brave people, many innocent people died in that tragic event. They need to scope out every cave, every hole, every inch and corner of Pakistan's land and search him with all means necessary. He must be found and must pay for his crulety. He needs to feel the consequences!
Summary:There is a crisis situation among the primates. Almost have of the primate species are in danger of extinction throughout the world. The main things that is causing the extinctions are tropical forest destruction, with the illegal wildlife trade and commercial bush meat hunting. From all 634 primate species, 48% of them are in danger of extinction. A handful of primate species count populations in the dozens. The problem is that only certain primates are found only on certain places. So if a species is being extinct in that region, then once they are all gone, they can't be found no where else in the world but there where it once lived.
Opinion: I think this is very terrible. Scientist, or anyone who owns the land where the primates live should help them. They know what the problem is so why don't they try and fix it? The owners of their territory could ban hunting or collect all the living species left and put them somewhere special just for them so they are out and free from any danger. I think some people are too cruel. What kind of person would hunt a lemur, or a gorilla, or an innocent little moneky just for pleasure or business wise?! If they want to hunt something then they should just hunt some bacteria in a science lab or something like that, instead of killing the poor monkeys.
Summary:The former U.S president Clinton had a busy schedule, by going to Haiti to help those who were affected by the earthquake, to more traveling across the world. After all the busy movement, he came back home, but he felt chest pain and was hospitalized at the Columbia Campus of New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Two stents were placed in one of his coronary arteries. A political analysist said that Clinton had a cold while coming back from his trip to Haiti. He has medical history, like a sergury he had in 2004. All the excitement and exhaustment bothers his health. "We will likely see him return to Haiti and other places in the world," CNN Senior Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta said. Even with that, he does not want to slow down. He wants to continue the things he is doing.
Opinion: Bill Clinton, the one and only. Even after his presidential retirement, he is still doing good, not just for the sake of America, but for the good well being of other countries and places as well. He does a lot of movement, and all that movement is bad for him. He knows that all that he does, all the things in his busy schedule are just affecting his health in bad ways. Even though those activities bring him peace and a good feeling to his heart, i believe that he should just rest in his home for the rest of his life. He shouldn't be going everywhere because it is just affecting him. He could pass away, and the his family would be sad! He should just let the new generation do his good for him and for him to retire for good and rest.
Summary:Everyone, the full U.S is helping with Haiti. They are trying to give as much food as they can offer them, to try and help all the victims of the earthquake that happened January 12. Many people haven't even recieved help yet even from that day. The 160,000 women themselves had to carry the 55 pound bags, thousands of 55 pound bags of rice. The U.S made a plan to give them those bags. So far, 600,000 people affected by the devastating earthquake have been able to collect food under the plan. Even if it is a lot but they still get food. Only women were given food coupons beforehand and allowed to stand in line to collect for their families. More than 200,000 people have died every since the earthquake.
Opinion: I believe that the U.S is doing well in making this plan in the first place to try and feed all the vitcims of the devastating earthquake. The women though, have to work hard to carry all those amounts of bags and i think that is wrong. They are ill and sick and in need of attention. The only thing there doing is wroking even harder, because there body is working in the first place to try and survive itself, and now there picking up heavy bags just to help themselves. I also think that the U.S shouldnt be the only country to help. Anyone else that has the oportunity to help should help, even if there not involved with the country or even if they dont even live near it, anyone who can should help. They need all the food and water and life they can get!
Summary: It was around 5 in the morning, and the famous Paraguayan soccer player Salvador Cabanas was at a bar with his wife and friends. He was in the restroom and got shot by a guy named JJ, who shot Cabanas with a 22 pistol. The bullet went right in his head and now he is in risk conditions. Half of his body is paralized and he is now in a comma. They say they won't be able to take out the bullet because it is so small, and if they tried to take it out, then he would have to go through major surgery and that could mess him up mentally. In his last game, while he was going to kick a coner kick, some fan through something like a piece of ice to him to show that he wasn't loved by those those people. So becasue of that, maybe it was a fan who shot him and didn't like him like the other oposing team fans in his last game.
Opinion: My opinion on all this is that well, if i was him i wouldn't be at a bar at 5 in the morning. At that time, the risk of something bad happening is high and he should have been aware of that. He didn't deserve what happened to him. He is a very good soccer player and famous in his country. He represents his country with how he plays, and that all probably changed. That one shot could have ruined his whole soccer carrer, probably even ended it. It was a big crime that the guy commited and he deserves to be in prison for life. That is such a bad thing.
Summary:A massice 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti this Tuesday right before 5 pm. It pretty much destroyed everything and killed millions. Several eyewitnesses reported heavy damage and bodies in the streets of the capital. Nothing, not even the citizen's concrete homes were safe. All crumbled and parished, falling down to the floor. It left thousands without homes, many without water, many without food. All just became poorer that it already was.The U.S started helping them by giving them money to try to make up for the millions and billions of dollars in damage.
Opinion: To me this was the most devastating earthquake ever that i have herd of. There are usually small earthquakes in the U.S that aren't even a big deal. They just mention it but it never really does any huge damage, nothing to be concern over. This is the first time that i hear about an earthquake doing this much damage by destroying the land and killing thousands of lives. Now, the people are left with nothing, and it is right for anyone right now to tell because they need any dollars they can get.
